Our Story

Fixer Upper Fitness was created on the notion that a healthy lifestyle can be achieved at any age. Our facility is designed for those who may feel uncomfortable in a larger gym atmosphere, who desire an individualized program, and who prefer to feel like family while they meet their fitness goals.

We serve a variety of clients – athletes who want to excel in their chosen sport, couples who want to improve their quality of life after retirement, parents, and kids who want to create healthy lifestyles as a family, and everyone in between.

Founder and co-owner, Morgan Hazel states, “I entered the physical fitness business primarily to help those who have given up on good health. The quality of my parents’ “golden years” was marred by poor health. This experience has driven me to make sure others do not follow in their footsteps.”

Angie Ballard

B.S. Biology, University of MD Eastern Shore, Licensed Massage Therapist
Angie believes that people can take authority over their health if they are given the right components, like fitness, nutrition, and even massage. The combination can give way to a higher quality of life and health. Her goal is to use massage therapy as a means of recovery and to improve a client’s level of stress, trauma, or state of pain. Massage should be considered an act of self-care instead of a luxury.
